Adolescent Outpatient Services provide specialized care for children and adolescents experiencing mental health, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Clinicians are trained in the treatment of childhood trauma and hold specialized training and certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Intergenerational Trauma and Neurodevelopmental Trauma, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Many clinicians also hold the Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor designation.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Specialty Clinic
Great Lakes Recovery Centers (GLRC) established this clinic to address the unmet need for psychiatric and specialized mental health services for children and families. We provide a full continuum of care, including psychiatric services, comprehensive assessment and treatment, and clinicians trained in trauma, child development, and family systems.
Who We Serve
Children and adolescents (ages 5–24) experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns who need psychiatric care and are unable to access these services through other systems.
Our Approach
Clients are seen by a Family Nurse Practitioner under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care.

GLRC’s Adolescent Services Center is a residential treatment facility for adolescent youth with Substance Use Disorder.
Clients reside in semi-private rooms, participate in many hours of therapy each day and take part in on-site schooling.
